Email not delivered
Diagnose why an email sent through Retidal isn't reaching the recipient.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”An email sent through Retidal is not delivered — no send confirmation, the message bounces, or it never reaches the recipient’s inbox.
Likely causes
Section titled “Likely causes”-
The email provider (ESP) currently routing this category is degraded or down.
Console → Projects → Email — check provider status; if one ESP is failing, traffic for its routed categories should already be moved to an alternate provider.
-
A domain’s DKIM signing key is out of date or unverified, for example after a rotation didn’t finish on every provider for that domain.
Console → Projects → Email — check the domain’s DKIM status; anything other than “valid” will fail or land in spam for sends from that domain.
-
Synthetic deliverability probe thresholds have been crossed for this ESP/domain pair (falling inbox rate, rising latency, or a high timeout rate).
Console → Projects → Email — deliverability metrics for the affected domain and provider.
-
The recipient address is on the suppression list (added directly, or as part of a bulk migration).
Console → Projects → Email — suppression list, search for the recipient’s address.
Still stuck
Section titled “Still stuck”If the signals above look normal and delivery still fails, escalate with the message id and recipient address, or work through the health checklist.
